Movie studios not enforcing HDCP?

Interesting. I'm just hoping that DX10 won't be requiring HDCP afterall, I'm not looking forward to buying a new monitor again:flame: Why would we want to drop HDMI? It's just a more convenient way to connect everything, if you have the money. HDMI is not necessary to view any specific media form, unless your HDTV only has HDMI inputs, which would be very strange.

They want more adoption of high end components probably with HDCP in the display. Give them a few years and then they just have to start making content that requires HDCP (HD DVD and Blueray movies etc). Then it will matter.

Good for now anyway.
