Personally I downloaded it from Kazaa.
You're not gonna want to wait around while it downloads so just get in the download queue on Fileplanet before you go to bed or something and by the morning it'll be downloaded. Bare in mind it is 600mb so no matter what connection you have it will still take a while.

OK the file is called hl2_gameplay_improved_gsi.zip - and is 615,953,954 byte
