The Fountain - http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/thefountain/

Munich - http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/munich/hd/

The New World - http://www.apple.com/trailers/newline/the_new_world/

I would say underworld 2 but the plot is so cliche beyond beliefe. Oh a super monster is coming back to end the world!?!?! Where have i heard that before? *cough* blade 3 *cough*

Monster House (neat little CGI movie) http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/monster_house/high.html

Three Extremes (looks FREAKy) http://www.apple.com/trailers/lions_gate/threeextremes/large.html

Running Scared (looks like this guy has finally made a decent movie) - http://www.apple.com/trailers/newline/running_scared/rs_apple_tr_med.html

Wolf Creek - http://www.apple.com/trailers/weinstein/wolfcreek/large.html

Syriana - http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/syriana/

The Fountain - Sure it looks interesting, though I have absolutely no idea what the hell it's about?

V for Vendetta - Looks rather cheesy. I've read the comic and I thought it was a-ok, but I don't see why I would wanna waste 2 hours on this unless the next trailer they release convinces me. The current trailer is rather 'meh'... I hope we get to see Natalie Portman naked as in the comic though...

Munich - Hm... another movie based on true events...hm... *sceptic* I love Steven Spielberg though and I can't think of a movie made by him that I didn't enjoy - yes, I even loved A.I. so **** off all you Kubrick lovers...
Actually I thought it was gonna be about the incidents in Munich during the Olympics, but the trailer showed me something else ( plus Munich of course) and now I'm a bit more interested in this.

The New World - Yep - this looks really interesting! I'm not a big Collin Farrell fan though, but this looks like it might convince - plus Christian Bale is in it aswell.

Monster House - Haha, yeah! I just watched the trailer today! I love the police car scene. I'm definitely watching this...

Three Extremes - I can't really figure out if this looks extremely cheesy or extremely creepy! Takashi Miike usually makes ****ed up movies, so I'll definitely watch this... Audition was nice and sick...

Running Scared - Haven't bothered watching the trailer so no comments...

Wolf Creek - Yet another teenage horror movie which has dumb big teenagers in it... I love horror movies, but I don't trust these Wes Craven wannabes... AND I don't trust Wes Craven either...I mean come on! Red Eye was awful!

Syriana - Yeah, it really looks as if George Clooney has been working his ass off to make some great movies lately.
Good Night, And Good Luck
Syriana
and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

As said before I love horror movies though 90% of those being made tonguelick balls. Most of them are about stupid teenagers running around in small tops with their breasts bouncing around getting stabbed in their backs as if it was a lifestyle. A new movie called Hostel might looks as if it might flip-flop things a bit. At first it reminded me of SAW mostly because of the creepy and wet basements it takes place in, but take a look a this trailer

http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/hostel.html;_ylt=Ah_4nPDRmiX0KtJZUtoxhFVfVXcA

It seems like it might actually be as violent as the trailer suggests and not as pathetic as SAW turned out to be... Yes, I do know that I sound extremely primitive right now, but I don't give a rat's ass because right now I've been in the mood for psychopath movies for a couple of months and none of those I've watched so far has surprised me. Not even Audition, Ichi The Killer or any other movie touches me...I need something that'll make my stomach turn!

OH! that reminds me, have you hard of that new movie by the guy who did Cabin Fever (didn't really like that movie, but hopefully this is good) where people pay to torture people? It looks REALLY good.

EDIT: OMFG! thats the movie i was talking about! wweeeiiirrrdddd!

I don't think it'll turn out good or anything, I just wanna see if an american director dares to go the whole hog instead of just avoiding the visual violence and focus on the pain. It sounds as if I'm a vampire or something, but seriously when have has an american director made a controversial movie? ...can't really think of any - can you?
The last movie I've watched that really made me squeeze my eyes together was Irreversible and that was mostly because of the fire extinguisher scene... it's horrible and beautiful at once!

Re: Hostel

Why do the parts always go to hot looking people? I mean if they wanted to make a realistic movie they'd at least cast plain and or ugly people just like in realiife.

True - well, you can't really find any newer horror movie where the leading roles/leading victims aren't played by (big breasted) hotties?

Scream - Neve Cambell
I know what you did last Summer - Jennifer Love Hewitt
Urban Legend - Alicia Witt
Cabin Fever - Cerina Vincent & Jordan Ladd
Red Eye - Rachel McAdams
etc. etc. etc. etc...

It attracts the male audience so they have something to look when their minds have been shut off due to the long and slow beginnings of horror movies. So to keep them focused on the screen they add nice girls...

I never understood the teen horror movie craze. Why do I want to see attractive people die?

I want to see their boobs, not their guts.

Silent hill

Have you seen the screenshots from it? It looks horrible!
http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3145256

I really hope the screenshots are far from what the movie will end up being, because I won't be able to trust another game adapation again if it turns out that you can actually make such a unique, genuine, and very stylish game into such crappy can of poop.

They look fine...

And once again, Avary's writing the script so I have no worries.

And Blade 2...oh and Blade 1 as well :).

Super monsters didn't come back to end the world :).

Blade 1: Regular ol' vampire who wanted supreme power.
Blade 2: Newly created vampire virus.

woot.

The fountain actually looks REALLY good. From my understanding he is searching for that girl, but in 3 different time periods. When you see his face, i think he is walking through a hallway (present time), then you see him again, but with a beard in the medieval period, then you see him again but bald in a futuristic world with this giant tree. And also it does this with him traveling. First it shows a horse in the middle ages, thn cuts to a modern day car, then a ball moving across space. I assume since it's shot in the same camera style, that their telling you it's him in those scenes but in different time periods.
