MP Mod

Can someone explain please?
I know that valve has not released A HL2 mod officially but where can I get the MP the people are playing? Who made? Please help me answer theses questions. :bounce:

people are direct connecting to eachother via IPs

there is no software needed, its a simple workaround.



net_start
sv_lan 0
deathmatch 1
maxplayers (whatever you want)
map (mapname)
restart

fires up your own server, then type

status

to get your IP, send that to someone and they can join

its very buggy, the player model is simply a grey-chromish looking gordon model from HL1 with no animations.
if you die it will crash the server, killing certain monsters, level changing might etc.
