MP2 Mods

they have a rare cure for it (it's really hard to find).... i'm not sure if ur on it but its called "a job" and they helped me alot

well..... I should have the money for HL2 when it comes out. Thats for sure. :)
And I can always download demos in the meantime :)
 
Whoo. Awesome. Max Payne 2 was great but now it's even better. (I love FPS games)

I have the money for a computer, around $1600 in savings. But right now that is my survival money till I find a job, and right now the economy sucks and there are no jobs.
 
Wow, I got a strangely reminiscent feeling of playing Trespasser with that mod.. lol
 
i know sum1 who is making a silenced pistol mod... which is cool.... kinda makes ur game like splinter cel.... well not really... but when u shoot people with it they fall over and everybody else in the room will say what the hell or sumthing else.... it's not dun yet, tho
 
Hunter, can you hook me up with that mod once your friends done with it? Sounds pretty sick so far.
 
wtf, i unzipped that mod to my rockstar/max payne 2 dir and nothing has changed. what did i do wrong.
 
Shweet, I'm downloadin' both right now... (heh, one's done).

I'll see if I can get 'em to work on my MP2. Terminator. :)

I've just tried that FPS Max Payne 2 MOD and it's brilliant. I've got some screenshots, just seeing if I can get them uploaded.

isn't it just beautiful??? bullet time, in the first person view.... sum times u can see max and his teeth, but only when throwing cocktails or grenades..... if u run around shooting the desert eagle, it looks like counter-strike :p
 
I've got this brilliant one of Max diving backwards with dual berettas. You can see both guns, one firing a shot and both his legs are in view.
 
Yep, you probably remember, I was the one that hacked the Steam cache file so we could access the e3_docks video early on Steam. Got a t-shirt and poster for it :D
 
It must be a simple mod too. Just tweak a few settings of the camera position and that's it.

I bet you could have it so it's a birdseye view too. I've got the developer's kit, might have a look at the settings.

It is a piece of cake to fool with the camera settings in MP2. All the Camera information is stored in a file called globalconfigs.txt, once you open it it's simply a matter of trial and error before you create some really cool stuff. I actualy made a small mod that triggers bullet time everytime a grenade thrown by Max explodes. I modified the ragdolls too, so they get thrown around alot more dramatically in explosions. Still trying to figure out ParticleFX though.
