Do you guys know any mp3 to Wav converter, free of course ?
I can't seem to find a one where they won't charge you.
I know, I know, I should buy a fancy Ipod, but I don't want to sell my house to buy one.

one comes with nero, its called nero wave editor ... just drag any audio file in there and save as any audio file. pretty handy, useful for audio editing (fades/cuts/effects) too. if you've got nero installed just look in the program folder for it. if you haven't, download and install nero.

winamp people, winamp...;)

plugins - output - Nullsoft Disk writer

Windows media player 10 does it for free now...I think.

Or maybe it only rips CDs...can't remember.

I just use winamp most of the time.
Same here, but if you click on a music file, the old playlist gets wiped out,and I have to re-add all the files back :x .

Don't you just make a backup playlist? I usually create a newone and add the songs I want to convert to that.

saving playlist each time you change songs can be uncomfortable

open another winamp instance and use it to convert.
your playlist will be safe in the oryginal winamp;)

I use dBpowerAMP. And if I want to split the .wav I use Wave Splitter 2.10. Both free.
