MP5 (my first model)

This is my first model. I made it in milkshape. Ive done alot of hl mapping and wanted to get start modeling. So just give me some pointers please if you see anything i could improve on. Also what program would you reccommend i use? I heard Gmax is good to start modelling in.

u could proberly start by not using milkshape use 3dsmax or xsi. Milkshape is wayyyyy to limited

looks quite good, very good for ur first model. is that a first gun or any model ?? my first gun was an MP5 ahh the memories. yeah, i used to use GMax, very good starting out program, because its free and its made by Discreet, so its exactly the same as 3DS Max, just a few differences.
