Sad they only made 14 episodes, this show was genious. Rowan Atkinsons the man.

Another vote for Blackadder here

Series 3 is probably my fave, or is it no. 4, or no. 2?? Too hard to decide. Certainly one of the best comedy series to grace our teles.

Mr Bean is good fun too

series 1 is Edmund the wimpy heir to the throne, series 2 is edmund the shrewd calculating guy, series 3 is set in the 18th century, and finally series 4 is set during ww1 ..series 2 is memorable for it's supporting characters like crazy Queen Elizabeth, Lord Percy, and Lord Flashheart

Mr Bean definitely makes my list of top 10 comedies of any kind ever. Blackadder does too of course.
The zaniness and hilarity just never stops!

My favourite episdoes nearly all fall into the 3rd series. Blackadder as a disgruntled butler is perfect. You can't beat Hue Laurie as the loony Prince either

The again, Stephen Fry appears far more in Goes Forth, and is superb. Much better than Melchid. Still, 3 stilledges it for me.

Blackadder's Christmas Carol was on recently - well worth checking out by anyonewho hasn'tseen it yet.
