We were going to have a referendom for gay marrages (constitution says marrage is between a man and a woman and stuff like that). But our Taoiseach (Prime Minister) has axed it because he says it won't get passed. Thanks for reading our minds and making democracy useless!

There's a very good reason for him doing this though. The money saved from running the referendum over and over til he gets what he wants as with the abortion and divorce referendums can be wasted on more useless ego trips. The man (and I use the term loosely) is a (unt. He's officially not fit to run a bath, look at the Bertie Baths for proof.
