MS FlightSim 02 problems.

A friend of mine is a big airplane fan!
He has given me a copy of FS 02!
The problem occures when he tries to join a public server!
He has all the required software, but he cant get on them
This is not the same for me however, i can!
But that is the problem we want to be able to fligh together
on A server "public or closed"
And we cant even succesfully create a closed server!
I was curious as to anyone having any advice, or simular problems like this?

Last time i was up at his house i done the house keeping as such, defrag, virus check. "AVG Free (latest definitions, then), and Windows defrag program"
all came up clean then. but he doesn't understand the importance of completing these tasks at least weekly.
Not like you or I, cookie!
diluted, he uses the usually usb modem, like mine but not same model !
I think he has Zonealarm, cant remember!
The problem really occures tho, when he tries a public server.
This could because his sister got him banned from nearly them all "Dont ask how"
so we have tried to creating a closed server, bye using one pc "mine mainly as the host pc" cus mine is substancially faster, plus better internet connection!

His "1mb UP, 128KB Down "
Once created we us MSN Messanger to support Voice comunications!
I send him my IP address, the once MS Fight sim specifies,
He searchies the IP address with out any succes.
"This is are Problem"

Hmmm, sounds like something is up with the router.
He should get the model name and search the net for the corresponding, that or just call the ISP.
