MS to release IE7... before next OS

Ooh great, no doubt it will be 20x bigger than it should be, fulll of useless features that nobody needs, and be holier than the pope. No pun intended.

I give it two hours before spyare comes up again.

Please let the next windows OS be better and more secure......PLEASE GOD!!!!!!

With any luck they are copying firefox code into IE. I'll probably stick with firefox anyway. (unless they force me to download some "mandatory update" that unfortunatly ( ) makes firefox not work on windows)

they'll definatly put in tabbed browsing, i reckon that'll be all the changes visibly that they make. Much like adding the pop-up blocker in SP2.

What's the point anyway of IE7? Anyone with half a brain (or isn't a complete microsoft fanboy) has switched over to firefox already. Unless IE 7 can pull off some really nice moves such as adding tabbed browsing, extensions, themes, rss feeds, pop up blockers that actually work, and the equivalent of an adblock extension, I'm staying with firefox.

Except firefox sucks at some sites :P(like bungie.net and exeem.com)

I have had no problems at any sites except badboys with firefox

I prefer IE simply becuase I know how to use it completely, I tried firefox a few times.. It was doing something wierd with my downloads...

and opera.. it seems fast and feature packed , but so many damn features but I can't even find simple browsing features. Also there are so many features they take up 1/3 of the screen!

But Im a n00b. I just need to use it a little more. I was having problem viewing certain pictures with IE so thats when Im learning to use Opera and/or firefox

The awesome thing here is, if something goes wrong with one browser you have another option... like 1 time when my IE settings got fooked, I could have used firefox or Opera. they are free!!!

Did you try both in my post?
for me on exeem it tries to download the .htm links and runs as slow as shit on bungie :P

Screw IE7....I'm still waiting for Longhorn.

If you prefere IE at least use a IE based browser, thats what I use, it's almost exactly like IE in layout apart from much better security, better features, more add ons, tabs etc... There is no excuse for using IE
