is there a big differnce between the one with the smaller heatsink and the one that comes with the big one? mine is the red one with the smaller heatsink

No, the smaller one is the stock one that is mandated by ATI to cool the 9800 Pro. It will be fine as long as you don't overclock. If you overclock, I highly suggest you buy a 3rd party heatsink.

No, they basically took a 9800 Pro and just added that heatsink. Exact same thing.

You should get good OCing results if you ever choose to overclock your card, User Name.

i can get that with stock and a fan card, you should be able to go higher
