some 1 help i play mmorpgs but i wanted to try half life 2, i got it in steam download and when i run it and get to the loading sreen a pop up come's up and says

The MSS DLL file is installed in windows or windows system
directory - it must be installed in the application directory.
plz help i can't find application directory <wtf is this???
im not good in pc only in playing games and i try doing wat it says
but i found no MSS DLL in window but in system38 i found it.
