multiplayer crash

hi all, my single player issues seem to have been fixed by pathces somehwere along the way.. but now i get blue screen of death during multiplayer... anyone else?
according to steam, my multiplayer is patched to current levels.
i have 1 GB ram, a radeaon 9600, and a 2.6ghz cpu.
as i said, i had similar problems with single player, but that seems to now be fixed... its multiplayer that is now crashing, and it seems totally random... the blue screen reports a driver problem, but doenst say which one and it usually references some hex memory addresses and a STOP instrcution. perhaps we need a new catalyst set from ATI?

i have been going thru the forums looking for this problem as i have it too and many many other people are complaining about it but no one has a solution yet. its happening to both nvidia and ATI cards so my guess is it's a problem with the game?
