Hey, I've recently tried to start messing around with some of the source code from the SDK, and I did a 'start from scratch' install. My only problem is, when I load the game up, there are no sounds or anything, and I get a ton of errors about sounds and weapons.. scrolling back through the console, it appears the game is trying to load the CounterStrike rules and game, and it thinks it's CounterStrike.
Has anyone else gotten this?
On a side note, has anyone successfully gotten NPCs into the MP source? I've gotten a model of barney to show up, where his arms are outstretched and legs together, all black, no skins, but nothing else.
