Multiple computer question

I was wondering if I'm allowed to have steam on 2 computers with the same ip at once. Basically, can 2 people play hl2 from the same account with the same ip.. I got a lot of computers and would like to play with family members, but can not afford to buy the game again, I'm sure they'd like to try the game aswell
If it's not, fair enough, if it is, fantastic!

You can try, but it'll probably fall over with Steam ticket errors at some point.
