Multiple Profiles

Is it possible to have multiple profiles? For Example, a friend wants to play HL2 but you don't want them messing up your saved game, controls, settings, etc.
I think I heard of a program that does it but I couldn't find it.

No. His computer can't run HL2. He just wants to try it out to see if its any good. What would I need to backup then? I want to backup all my saves and configurations.

copy the clientregistry.blob from ur hl2 folder to somewhere else and that will have all of ur saved info and u can have unlimted saved games i think
