all I can say is wow, and that I need new set of underwear, pants, computer monitor and paint on the wall infront of me.

my one complaint is it's probably still a b*tch to use as a keyboard, I know the smartboard at our school is (it's a front projection version)

also wheres that music from I recognized it from somewhere.

*edit*

the colour demo at the beginning and the google map demo were my favourite, with the lava and the game just behind.

Seen it before this (3rd time posted IIRC) but that lava, I could play with it all day.

Yeah, there was a thread on this earlier, but that doesn't matter. It's so freaking awesome ^___^

Are they showing off the software demos themselves, or the fact that you can have multiple pressure points at once? (If you've noticed, all touch-screen devices today register only one specific point, and if you are touching two spots it will register the point in between the two)

With multiple spots, there are lots of possibilities for games and such.

Holy crap, it's like Minority Report come true. Resisting... urge... to steal.

exactly my thoughts while viewing that

**** me, that looks sooo damn sweet! that is absolutely perfect for doing anything creative/design wise, this is going to be huge in the concept design industry..

personally I'd LOVE to have that for music programs.. Imagine manipulating waveforms in real time, connecting virtual synths and effects. equalizing and stuff just like that. wow.

and imagine playing games.. or watching future porn on that thing ;)

good music choice, peace orchestra - who am i

jesus...thats awesome. I want one! Probably costs like several hundred thousand dollars though.

I'd love to live DJ with it.

I can't tell what's exciting you guys, the software on the thing (which has long been possible and isn't exactly groundbreaking) or the fact that you can touch multiple spots at once?

Just that technology is so advanced. This technology could mean so many things in the future.

think if you had two of those screens hooked up to a PC! Next they need to develop a holodeck for Half Life 3

Its cool.. but if thats what people consider 'advanced' technology, then im evil Licoln.

To me, it's not so much the technology, but the things they were running on it. I mean, when the person was organizing the photos, and using it as a keyboard, and the lava... it was just really incredible. I just picture, 20 years from now, not having a keyboard, or mouse, or any of that- just one of those.
