Multiwinia

Well, it releases in about 1 hour. Anyone else care? Does seem that there hasn't been much fuss made about it.


For those that don't know, multiwinia is a multiplayer version of the original darwinia. Steam are advertising it at $20 (About a tenner in real money).

I played a demo of darwinia and defcon and I've got to say I really just didn't get it. I didn't get the appeal and huge hype behind either of them. Shame I was a little intrigued by this until I tried them.

Darwinia was a great game, but I'm not sure how well it will translate too well to MP.

Heh I am such a whore :E, I had a pleasant surprise when I read my bank statement earlier on so I decided to order in the limited edition boxed version of this from the introversion store (http://store.introversion.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=61), it should be winging it's way to me after the weekend to join it's buddies Original Boxed Uplink & Original Boxed Darwinia

I'm not sure whether to buy this or the new crysis (with a new mp mode).

This game is certifiably awesome. Easily Introversion's best product yet. Let me put it this way, it's like Rome: Total War meets Tron all in a multiplayer environment. It's original and has plently of little hidden surprises too(The Defcon nuke subs make an appearence. ). A MUST HAVE.

I'll be checking out the demo later on.
Should interesting to see how it translates into multiplayer.
