Anyone have this album? I must say I was a Muse fan originally, but this album has increased my love ten fold. So many brilliant songs, very atmospheric. Supermassive Black Hole is the single out, very catchy song. The album has plenty more to offer, I'm really into it. *nods head to beat*

I dig it. My fave is still OoS, but there are so many epic songs on this one. I love Take A Bow.

It's great!

I'm not sure whether it's better then OoS of not, but that never was a far out favourite.

Personally i love Exo-Politics, Map of the Problematique, City of Delusion and of course Knight's of Cydonia

All amazing songs! I really like Starlight and Invincible too. Map of the Problematique is by far my favourite though, Oh and Supermassive Black Hole is a worthy single is it not? I appreciate it is different from Absolution and before that, but bands do need to move on, i still think this is great stuff. Anyone seen the video? Gave me nightmares!

I hear Knights of Cydonia really hit it off well in the states. Apparently the americans are loving the "no-one's gonna take me alive" part with the riff at the end.

That's my favourite part of it too. Mainly because the rest of the album has very little in the way of crunching riffs. However the early parts of the song are growing on me.

Starlight is the next single in the UK apparently, I would have liked to have seen it be Problematique, it wouldve complemented SMBH quite well imo

TBH I wasnt that impressed, but I have a feeling its going to improve the more I listen to it. Having said that, Knights of Cydonia is one of the most awesome things I have ever heard (i'm looking forward to seeing it live at Reading Festival in August).

As a musician I'm impressed that they have TWO songs that modulate not only once, but at least three times. Take a Bow modulates like every 10 seconds. Very cool.

Not really digging it...

One of my mates was all over it babbling 'best album this year'

I really can't see it.

I'll keep trying cause I've loved all their other stuff.

So far I like SMBH and starlight, rest are so so.

Take a bow doesn't hit it with me either...

Meh I wanna love this, going to see em Nov at Sheffield

My favorites:

Take a Bow
Starlight
Map of the problematique
Knights of Cydonia

If I listen to most the songs on teh album without paying any attention I like them .. If I really listen to them .. I hate them.

Also, this album I notice it the most ... how the music can change styles and teh singer is still singing the same way ...

On second thoughts, yes it is indeed excellent.

This is the second... no, third... album in a row that I've listened to where the first half is much, much better than the second half. I love Take A Bow, Starlight, SMBH, and Map of the Problematiqué.

And IMO, Starlight is on its own a much better song than MotP, but MotP complements SMBH much better.

I like it, and I've never really been big on Muse..

I love Knights Of Cydonia/SMBH/Problematique/Starlight..

Supermassive Black Hole is quite simply the best Muse single ever.. I love it.

I'm very interested in this album. Usually I think new music generally sucks, but from what I've heard Muse's new sound is great.

Don't go expecting a whole album of Supermassive Black Hole style stuff though.

love this CD. favorites so far are Starlight, Map of the Problematique, and City of Delusion.

I really glad Map of Problematique is hugely popular, the intro to the song is very atmospheric as it builds up and i love the energy. Always great stumbling across songs like that.
