We all know that music is capable of inciting powerful emotions in everybody, so.

What are the three songs and/or albums that just make you so happy, that you feel like you'd be content with just falling dead wherever you lay?

In no order:

Electric Ladyland - the Jimmi Hendrix Experience
Wheels of Fire - Cream
A Day in the Life - the Beatles

Oh Where Oh Where Could my Baby Be? - Pearl Jam

Every time I hear this song, I think of my girlfriend, and it makes me sad.

Krafterk - Autobahn
Novel 23 - Water of Life
Aphex Twin - 4

I definitely agree with that last pick veg.

Mmm yes. Love the chord progression.

There's only two of these for me atm, but I feel lucky to even have any:

Axis of Advance - Curtailing Factors of Interference
Drudkh - When the Flame Turns to Ashes

I can't recommend either song highly enough to anyone inclined towards metal.

A Silver Mt. Zion - 13 Angels Standing Guard Round the Side of Your Bed

Seriously, whenever I listen to this song, I think of stuff like the war in Iraq, a lot of people crying/suffering, and just a lot of other things... you all must listen to it.

Explosions in the Sky - Remember Me As a Time of Day
1 Mile North - In 1983 He Loved to Fly

A Silver Mt. Zion are up there as a hard-hitting band right away. Both areas of the music - the lyrics and vocals and the actual instrumentation itself are mindblowing areas of emotion in my own opinion. I challenge you to listen to Sit In The Middle of Three Galloping Dogs or Ring Them Bells (For Freedom Has Come And Gone) or The Triumph of Our Tired Eyes without feeling something.

A Silver Mount Zion and that Beatles song about the girl leaving home.

Seriously!

I don't think there is a song that actually makes me 'happy'. :|

I wish there was though.

There are dozens of songs that make me real sad though.
