I saw this program a long time ago that could create sounds and beats from SCRATCH. Now, i dont mean some noobish Deejay program, im talking about real shit. You dont use any instruments at all, you do EVERYTHING in the program. You can create drum beats or dope techno sounds from scratch. You can model the sounds like in any modeling program, you have the wave infront of you and you can modify and stretch it to get the sound you want. And after a few months of hard working you have created a whole libary of pwnage sounds, and can mix them together to create a real good beat or a techno song etc.

I dont remember the name, so i have no clue where to find it. Does anyone of you know what im talking about? Or do you know any other program were you can create sounds and beats from scratch?
thx

Now that sounds really damn advanced. If you're any kind of a beginner you won't get past the frustration phase with such a program.. you need to study loads and loads of synthesis to even be able to create what you want with an existing synthesizer. not even I have ventured too much into creating sounds from scratch with waveforms

A few months? make that a few years dude..

I'm not too into cubase but it could probably do what you want. it sounds like a very specific specialised prog though..

As usual i'd recommend Reason though because it's a good program to get into, you can do everything you want from the composing and mixing phase to mastering in it, and it has two synths using "graintable" and subtractive synthesis.

edit: this sounds like what you were looking for:
