Song 18 is by far the best. Best song I have ever heard in a game. And when it comes during the game, when you are fighting a crap load of zombies in the hospital, its perfect ass kicking music.

Song 4 plays after you beat the Antlion Guard and Alyx takes control of the bunker gun.

EDIT: We need official names for the songs, like we got for the Half-Life 2 soundtrack.

I was original and called song #4 it "Urban Flight", I called song #18 "Cold Hospitality" and the song at the end of the game I called "Strider Encounter". Then again, those are my names for it

18 and 4 are kickass. almost as kickass as 15 and 29 of HL2.

Number 16 was the best in HL2 in my opinion, I think it was played during the last strider fight.

Download GCFScape (search it on google). Then open up the GCF file called "episode 1 shared" and you will find the music in the "sounds" folder, i believe.

Steam needs to be turned off though, while opening most GCFs
