I fail to see the irony. There are people deserving Peace prizes in countries that are at war, obviously. Just because a country is at war doesn't mean all inhabitants of that country aren't doing things for the peace of the world.

What irony? That the prize has been given to people outside the war zones? People outside war can still do a lot of work to help people inside it. And besides, it's Norway that deals out the peace prize, so what more to expect?

Funnily enough - there are LESS wars now than there were before..

1860's, this is 1900 and beyond.

This flash threw me off at first, then I realized it's keeping the battles/conflicts from the years before on there, at first I thought as you moved along it was showing all current ones (which would be worse than WWII if it was all current like that.)
