My account isn't workin!!! :(

Okay, the problem started today when I was trying to connect in a server in Counter Strike Source. Well it didn't let me in a server and it gave me me this kind of message: Your Steam id ticket has been expired.. And it asked me to log in again.. So I did that. I still got the same problem! Then I pressed login as a differnt user button and now i can't even get steam running cause it says that my steam account name or password is incorrect!

this really suck man! I sent this same message to steam support and i hope i can have my account back! :flame: I know that this is my bad luck again Plz some1 help me.. !!!

Goto your steam folder and delete the ClientRegistry.blob file then try to connect.

Hmmmm, sounds like someone found out your username/password and changed it. Did you try "Forgot password" and all that? Did you get an email from that? If not, then it's a fair guess someone else has the account.

Now if that's the truth, the question remains on how they got it. Maybe you ran some third-party Steam software (there are a bunch of them that steal steam ID's and keys and all that jazz) or someone could have simply hacked your computer, and downloaded the .blob file off your computer (there have been those around too....)

This problem has been on the forum alot lately. Try searching first. The only thing you can really do is delete your clientregistry.blob or just re-enter your password when asked for it.

Nope. Still got same problem.. And that clientregistry.blob thing isn't working for me.

edit: Well.. This really sucks. I tried to create new account in steam and i put the same email adress that i have always used in steam in that old account. And I of course tryed to log those games in that same cd-key that I have(it didnt work of course cause some *****r uses my account and plays MY GAME). And, when I test that lost account thing I have an email.. So I guess my original account is hacked. god this is so depressing... And now than I have 2 accounts.. man I hate my self. I hate this, I really do. Valve haven't answer to my messages neither have Half-Life 2 support.


But thank you for you help. Guess Im not playing Counter Strike Source or Half-Life 2 for a while.

Anywhere it asks for your login to connect you'd be silly to enter it :/ when it says your steam ticket has expired , just exit steam and open it again.. sometimes you have to wait a few minutes before it to work again .. but imho you'd have to be pretty stupid to type it in to join a server

Did you even understand what my problem was?? I cant even open steam anymore! And that's because I did that thing that many ppl including you told me. Log out of steam and then log in again..

Im not accusing anyone... But that is my problem, not anymore that ID ticket thing.

Is my english really that bad.? Hope you understand now!

Guys please don't ignore my messages. I can't log in steam. Get it? My account has been stolen. Can't use lost password thing, cause some idiot has hacked my account and changed my contac email and account name.

Im now saving up some money so i can have new Half-life 2 :flame: :angel:

Yeah that is a silly thing for VALVe to do. They should send a confirmation email to your main email account asking if you yourself varified the change....

Or do they already do that?

UnderHill. There are a few people on the Steampowered forums who have had their accounts hijacked. Perhaps you can PM them and see how they got it resolved. I would imagine Valve can help you if you have your original serial number etc... probably will take a while though.

Yeah, maybe I try find those guys in steampowered forums. But I'm little bit suspicious.. Valve havent sent me anything yet. :frown:

but... I think I have f***ed this thing my self now. I was so stupid that i tried to register new account.. And i tried to register games in steam that cd-key which i have already register in my original account. So now i got two "accounts" and one of these accounts is hacked. And one is useless.. And that useless account is registered my mail address which is adress that i used in my "real" account. But lets see what I can do. I try to sent 1 more message to steam adminstor and if they wont ban that cd-key whicth is hacked and give me new account I go and buy new Half-Life 2. And then I stop this whining..

^^God, if some1 who's prime language is english understanded that s****t over there I will give him a medal. I mean I can't understan it my self eather so

I must say that you guys are great, i dunno what I would do without forums full of friendly ppl.
