My aspect ratio on HL2 is messed up!

I was messing around with the settings and I set the aspect ratio to 16:10 and now it wont work. I can hear the background but its just a black screen with a blue message saying "out of range" and "PC display settings correct?" I've tried restarting and even reinstalling it but its the same thing!

Can some one please help me, I can't do anything like this!

Right click Half-Life 2 in your Steam games list, go to Properties, look around in there for 'Launch Options' and add this to it:

-width 1024 -height 768
