in my benefactors,after dog lifts the gate you go underground to a set of "steps" with "pistins " going up and down acrooss from you what do u do there ?? also how far into the game am I??

Climb into one of the 'pistins' [walk up to it and press the 'use' key] - be careful which one though, as the wrong choice will incinerate you...then sit back and enjoy the ride.

make your way into that big superstructure in the middle of the casm. Look for things to jump on and moving parts for when they in a position to provide platforms for you.
