my bookmarks dissapeared

I opened firefox and my bookmarks hav dissapeared,and the whole explorer behaves like if I just installed it
it hapenned before,is some kind of bug?

If you use windows XP, your favourites (bookmarks) should be here:
Go to main hard drive and go in "Documents and Settings". Then select your Windows XP username and then you should see a folder with a star picture. That's the bookmark map. If it's empty, someone might have deleted them :|

there are the bookamrks of microsoft internet explorer not the one of firefox
