Don't you hate when, for example: When you don't want to think about all the different colours + names of them, you can think of them easily. But when you want to remember the colours you can't remember, or only remember a few?

WTF? I don't want to remember something, so I remember it, I want to remember something so I can't remember it. I hate my brain.

In the words of AngryLawyer: HATEHATEHATE

that happens to me, but differently. like when i'm not somewhere important, i dont get as much boners. But when i'm somewhere important, i get a boner, and, well, i dont really like people that know me see anything like that. it must be that you are trying to not think about something but that still makes you think about it.

^ Also happens to me ^

But for me it doesn't matter the importance of the place, it matters of the amount of people, more people, more shlong.

I don't really understand how you can forget colors...

See Que-Ever? Perfect Example.

You forgot about other colours like cyan, maroon, and turquoise, you couldn't think of them cause you were trying.

Stab it with a Q-tip or crayon. You'll remember all the colors then.

what? no. Red, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Black, Brown. What is cyan? it's a lightish-blue. what's maroon? it's a darkish-red. I think all these color names are stupid. chicks can use them. maybe. I don't.

what the hell is a chateuse? You remember dr. ludwig von drake? has sang a song that had like, a million different "colors". and there was one that sounded like chateuse. I've heard of special colors, that aren't like any other color. not ultra violet, but like, some other stuff. I don't even know. I'm confused now.

You know what? black isn't a color. Brown isn't a good color... it could be a red. six colors, dammit. six, now. I need a nap. damn kids! Put my IV back in!

3 colors are enough to describe the entire spectrum: Magenta, Yellow, Cyan.

Yeah, I seem to remember alot of useless stuff I dont need, and Ive only seen or heard once, but when Im in a maths test trying to remember something Ive been studying for weeks I cant freaking do so!

Somehow I pass...

I remember all of the words of Breencast. :/

Damn it.

What? That's a bad thing nowadays?

But why can't I remember the date of the Japanese invasion? or the 7-years war? ITS NOT FAIR!

There are much worse things that your brain can do to you. Be happy that's all you have :P

15357, me too. I've forgotten basically every dates of every war or major event I ever studied in Social Studies...(except for something huge like WWI/WWII)

But all the words of the breencasts...wow. I guess I remember a lot of sentances from them too but not in order...

What?

Red, crimson, orange, yellow, like light kinda green, forest green, olive green, purple, indigo, violet, ultraviolet, blue, sky-blue, navy, maroon, umber, brown, black, white, off-white, cream, tan, grey, beige, charcoal, cyan, magenta, pink, salmon pink, flourescent pink, turquoise, gold, silver, bronze, etc.

You don't need any colours to describe the entire wavelength. Just the Hz.

Could you possibly find this song somewhere so I could hear it? That sounds very interesting to me.

Shades of brown are created by mixing the three primary colors if i remember correctly.
When I was in art class in middle school, we were taught there were 3 actual colors that could be mixed in different ratios, along with increments of black&white, to create any other color in the world. These primary colors are Red, Yellow, and Blue.

These primary colors could be mixed to create the secondary colors which are purple, orange and green,

(yellow and blue make green! thanks Ziploc! :frog: )

RGB or red/green/blue is a different system of the same principal that uses an intensity level.

The Cyan Magenta system is also very similar.

My brain makes me mad, because sometimes i'll think of something which I shouldn't do, and i'll feel this compelling urge to do it, until I either do it, or resist the urge to do so. Even the most fleeting thought, this seems to happen. I dunno why.

Another reason I hate my brain sometimes, is i'll have a thought going through my head, a visual thought. For example, I see a swing going through my head(could be anything). Its going forward, back, forward back. if I want to make it stop and go back, forward, back forward, its difficult, cause it seems sometimes hard to make my brain change the course of the swing(or whatever) in my head, and go the opposite direction. Its like it gets into a rhythm it doesn't want to break out of...

Know what i'm saying? Anybody understand me or am I a compulsive psycho?

If you remember things in a sequence, rather than a random order, it should be easier to remember.

or the 100 years war which was actually like 116 years long :rolling:

There is some movie this Saturday on HBO 2 EAST COAST DIRECTV satelite that I don't think anyone should miss.

Its a totally successful attempt to make learning history fun and entertaining. The trailer was funny! plus i like learning, as long as it doesn't involve too much writing* it is interesting!

(* I don't like writing with a pen or pencil - it hurts! )

OMG i sound like a ****ing teacher. :meh: Quick say some swear words, drink some beer!

GOD I hate that. just some stupid repeating image, over and over, and it wont... freaking... STOP.

If you break the rhythm of that swing, you can successfully perform telekenisis! D:

All of the primary, secondary and tertiary colours.

Absolutely. Great minds think (swing/spin?) alike.

aha! red, green, blue, purple, yellow, and orange. I win.

Monitors can't replicate true Cyan. The blue you see isn't actually blue, just an illusion. <shh.gif[/img]

Thing I hate the most is when I have something stuck in the back of my head ALL DAY LONG (a song lyric, a quote from somewhere, just a random word that took my interest, whatever), but then I can never remember what it was when I want to. And then I'll give up... and then later, maybe ten minutes, maybe an hour, maybe a day, it'll just pop back into my head for no apparent reason, and I'll probably have stopped caring by then :)

Heeeyy, I used to have the same thing...I think.
Mine was this: I'd imagine legs/feet pedalling a bicycle, and I found it so hard to make the feet stop! or go backwards...
It seems wierd to me now though, because I can imagine them stopping/going backwards just fine ?:/

Yea, well..... Atleast my avatar isn't an eye with pink-eye!
