My CSS Keeps minimising itself :(

Yo, i just tried playing CSS and every 20 seconds or so it minimises itself which gets really annoying as not only will it sometimes time out from the server but also get me killed, can anybody help please ;(

Is that when the popups come? does ad-aware block it and make it minimize? or is this sumat else?

mine minimizes randomly when I join a server. It's pretty annoying; it also does this for hl2dm.

however, it only does it once for me so it's somewhat tolerable

If you have windows XP, run Hitman Pro (www.hitmanpro.nl). It will automaticly install some spysweapers and run them automaticly. You only have to install and run it. Everything goes automatic.

After that, you should close all programs before playing.

Nope its not that Jon Ad-Watch does block them yes.

Thats the thing, it only started this morning, i mean, it may have been a small problem but am just about to leave school now so i will try playing it again.

If your Ad-Watch is blocking popups, it means there is something that is giving popups -> you have spyware. Download Adaware from www.download.com or something, update the definitions and scan your entire computer.

no way that i have spyware anyway...i have so many things on my system to detect and block and delete ANYTHING!!!

Dunno what it is but its annoying...sometimes i die, othertimes im lucky but i look like an idiot to others

You have so many things... Turn them off when playing CS. They might minimize it. You wont get popups anyway (your PC is clean right?).

I do have adaware and i have scanned with everything, i may do a full scan tomorrow night with Microsoft Antispyware Beta
Bitdefender Pro 8
and Ad-aware and see what it comes up with.

same here, new install of xp all updates, adaware ,microsoftantispy, spybot 1.4, avast, clean pc, and it minimises all the time , when i join.

Do ya'll who have this happening have ZoneAlarm or similar? I've had ZA popups "off screen" due to the resolution difference. Be sure to give hl2.exe rights to transfer...

Just played it now and it seemed fine, might've just been a bug or something, dunno, either way it seems to be working now.

I had this minimizing problem too.
I got rid of it by uninstalling my graphics drivers, then running DriverCleanerPro, and installing new drivers.
