I doubt this has made the news, but it was reported in the Solihull newspapers and was also reported on the radio, so here i go.
My dad works in the New Street branch of HSBC in birmingham. Its the biggest branch in the West Midlands, and my dad has a job as an executive there. Now, at about 10:30 in the morning my dad was called to the entrance, because a man of Pakistanian origin had walked up to the front desk and claimed he had a bomb.
Thankfully, when the police finally arrived (after my dad had removed the people from the hall) and arrested him, it was found that the man was clinically insane and did not have possetion of a real bomb. Still, he still spent most of his work day making statements and conforting staff, and answering police questions.
And it doesnt seem to bother him at all :|

they should have sent macgyver in to deal with it.

They sent 12 policemen, 7 with rifles and a German Shepard :farmer:

macgyver doesnt believe in guns.

or dogs.

All Mcgyver needs are his rugged good looks to get out of any situations, and his narating of course.

Well, since we are telling storied about our parents, here is one of mine. Some ignorant protestors outside of my dads building (he was a defence contractor) were protesting, not exactly sure but they were protesting about mines and how mines killed so many people and so on. Which I found hilarious, not only did the company they were at not develop mines, but the ones the US use have batteries that die off after they are not needed any more. Most of the ones doing the killing/harming are 50 years old. Protestors are funny, they must protest because they have accomplished nothing in their life so they just jump on the bandwagon and go and protest in a parking lot for some obscure reason and live off their welfare checks.

i am not saying that you are wrong, but what else do you propose people do when they don't like gov. or bus. actions?

First of all, they could atleast protest at the right place. Maybe try voting, if that still doesn't work they can help campaign or whatever, and when all that fails they can go out their and dig the mines out themselves.

Last summer when I was in the mall in Phoenix someone left a big black box in the courtyard and said it was a bomb and we got evacuated.

It was empty though

'cause i think, yes protests should be well organized, but i like them, there are acually fun
