i never wanted to play this game. i thought it looked pretty dumb, but then when i played blue shift, i liked it a lot because the storyline blended with hl1, i heard that the same happens in opposing force so i went and played it. i got to the part where theres some undergroudn tunnel and stuff falls over the hole that brings you there, and there are huge monsters in the tunnel and you gotta use nightvision to see them. i always died at this point but i want to continue in order to get the story of it, but i had to reformat my hard drive. so i need 2 things from you guys.

1. a save file right when you enter the tunnel
2. a cheat command making me not die (i think theres one where i cant go below 1 hp)

thanks guys.

I can't help you as far as saving goes but in that tunnel the simple rule is "Keep Running"

Do Not Stop whatever you do, Lost? Keep running.

Don't try and take the big monsters on they can shrug off RPGs and generally hurt you loads.

Just stick with running.

running, hmmm sounds good, what i did was i would lure them back to the little part where is tarted, one by one, and use tripmines and det pack and whatever the hell i had to take them out, i took out about 3 of them, then i would die.

I hate that part, was so scary back then.

There is actually a trick, with the teleporter gun, if you run like mad to a little water opening near the start of the tunnel and press right click, you will be teleported to the xen then to the end of the level.

I always just used the SAW. Half a clip kills them good.

Also, I discovered a good trick to beat it quick:

Where you first start out, keep going down the tunnel until you hit the first crossroads. If you turn left, you should be able to see a light near a large pipe going through the tunnel down at the far end.
Run as fast as you can, firing the SAW at anything that gets in the way, then when you reach the pipe, duck down underneath and go on the other side of it.
The enemies won't be able to see you or follow you, but you shouldn't have trouble shooting them. And, since the pipe is right in the exit of that section, you just saved yourself the trouble of killing three or so huge guys.

this is all well and good but i need a save file, i had to reformat and i DNOT want to play through all that shit again. anyone got one? please? :(

Why not just burn the file onto a CD?

any ichtysours lol
Three of them, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, that bit sucked. I just drew them out of the tunnel one by one.

i only have one save and thats "THE PIT WORMS NEST" chapter..

IMO opforce is much betetr than blue shift
so if you enjoyed the ladder, you'll enjoy the first :)

I played opfor a while ago, but had to stop when it bugged and crashed when I loaded any save from any point. I only had like 3 saves and none worked.

Heheh, I was too pissed off after the first few attempts to even consider running. I wasted every single one of those sons a .... bigger monsters!.. :P

The tunnel part was indeed awesome. I actually killed all of the monsters, though. Thank goodness for quicksave.

Hmmm... I think I'll load up Steam and play that game again.

Wraith, just find out the map name of the area and do the loadmap thing in the console.
