I took a coarse At school (grade 10) called graphic arts because I thought It would help me gain experience with some of the programs that the game companies use. (the programs so far we have used are photshop, freehand 10 and studio4D)

Here is my first piece done with photoshop.
I started doing a blind contour drawing of my hand in freehand 10 and then placed it in a square and made 4 copies and exported it to photoshop. The assignment was to make a piece that resembled some of any warhol's work.

What do you guys think?
I didnt put as much detail As I should have, you can tell if you look close around then edges of the hands.

There is alot I can still improve on I think. If you look at the top left hand the knuckle hair looks like I rushed it and it just stands out to much.

And Im sorry if some of the compressions makes the picture blurry or anything.

that middle finger looks kinda disturbing.

dude that's your hand? you should be in surgery RIGHT NOW dammit

Its called a blind contour drawing its supposed to look like that :P

The whole point of a blind contour drawing is to only look at your hand and not what your drawing, you cant take your pencil of the page (or in my case the let go of the mouse) The whole thing has to be done with one stroke. Try it, it is much harder then it sounds. Its easier to do it on paper though, then it is on the computer. I cant look at the drawing untill I believe I have finished it all. Then once the hand is complete You can actually look at the page an paint it.

Gee I thought you would have known that though.

Your tutor should be shot. Warhol...? holy crap.
