my friend is making an RPG (screenshots)

my friend has been working on this RPG fora few years now, i helped him by making some of the textures, some of the sprites, and coming up with some of the game ideas. he coded ti all himself using the sphere engine (free RPG engine) there are some things sphere doesnt support but he coded it in, he is a genius like that, check out the screenshots (the sewers are dark but i lightened up the screenshot so you can see it better) check out my site in the future to download the game, also there are some find cartoonz on there if you arent too easily offended. enjoy!

we came up with a neat battle system, a very in-depth story etc etc, its not done yet but its going to be one of the best and biggest RPG on the sphere engine

look guys, its a home made first coding/game project. dont be assholes because he didnt gather 15 of the top gaming industry people and work 5 years on this thing. he worked on it alone for 2 years, for free, and plans to give out for free, so i dont see why you ****s are complaining

Don't worry. Some people don't have anything constructive to add so they say stuff like that. It looks really cool. I like the text, so I hope you don't change it.

Last year for our APCS A final project, my two friends and I made an RPG game. We coded the whole engine ourselves. It is rather simplistic, but not bad for a school project. I even made development tools for it. Here is a shot of the map editor.

If you build a car and ask for constructive critisism would you complain if all of them where verbaly destroying your project just becouse it is not a space ship? It is not constructive to compare amateur projects to proffesional ones.

the thing you dont know about this RPG, and the thing most people like about RPGs, is the story. this one has a great story, i hope at least fenric will check out the demo when its ready, i think youll like it a lot.
