My game doesn't run! Argh!

I don't know what the deal is. I haven't played the game since well... since a week or two after its release. I go to try to play it now, and it pops up, goes to a black screen then back to the desktop immediately. I don't know what could be up. Should I reinstall it or what?

Hrm I turned off fast write, and now it works? Dunno.

It might be fast write, it might not. I dunno. Could also be the cd/dvd burner/copy programs I deleted from my comp. Anyways, fast write is located in your video settings if you have ATI at least that I know of. Right click desktop, properties, settings, advanced, there's a tab in there that has a fast write option.

Thats the "ARGH! NON SUPPORTED DRIVER ERROR!!!111111" error. IIRC
