This game is gorgeous. I wasn't going to get the game until I got my new system and holy junk, I'm glad I waited. The enviroment looks so real!

Only problem I'm having is I walked into a Church Looking building and it gave me the blue screen of death :(

Yeah, Bethesda doesn't like the idea of religion.

KNEE SLAPPER!!

Besides the bugs, I can't stop playing!
And I'm stuck at work :(

Play the thieves guild quests. NOW. GO AND DO THEM THERE SO HORNY.
*Goes and prepares for Knights of the nine (Tommorow!)*

Uriel, if you're running Vanilla, I recommend you to get Unofficial Oblivion Patch, it fixes a ton of bugs that Bethesda hasn't fixed with their current patch, http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=1417.

There are also mods out there that makes the game look even more gorgeous than it already is, I recommend Natural Environments, Illumination Within Revived, there was also one mod that made the cities be lighted from the outside that made it look even greater at night, don't remember its name though.. Anyway, use http://www.tessource.net/ for Oblivion mods, it has a ton of'em.:)

http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=586224 a good thread from the official forums with Recommended Mods :)

Thanks:cheese:

I got a few mods for the weather and balancing issues (makes the game harder) but this looks like a needed addition.

What GPU do you have?

Does anyone know what setup you need to run this game max?

Random crashes are a bit of a problem, but it's not as bad as Morrowind was. Just save often, and use the normal save system at the end of the day instead of a quicksave.

At least the patch fixed the problem where indoor saves became corrupted and useless. I can't imagine what console users had to go through because of that one, I barely managed to find a backup that worked since I usually saved inside one of my houses. :rolling:
