My guitar broke :(

My Agile AL 2000 broke a couple of days ago. The signal started going in and out, and it got to the point where I had to constantly hold the cable in place to get any signal. Eventually it stopped emitting signal altogether.

Something tells me its just a snapped wire around the 1/4 inch jack, but I don't have a screwdriver of the right size or a soldering iron, plus I don't think I'm allowed to use a soldering iron in the dorm.

I'm considering taking it to guitar center, but they charge crazy high amounts and it takes weeks, apparently. I might just take it home with me next week and try to fix it with the tools I have there.

Checked it with two cabes, tried running direct to the mixer, tried direct to an amp, nothing worked.

Sounds like the wire connected to the input jack has become disconnected. It's a common problem, and one easily fixed by a qualified technician. Take it to a repair shop other than Guitar Center as it will be cheaper and a lot faster.
