It's not a major problem, as the rest of the game is 100% completely playable and runs well on my system. It just bugs me because I played through HL1 and it's expansions so I got used to seeing those familiar all-caps chapter titles fade in when you make it to the next chapter. Unfortunately they simply don't show up in my HL2 (and I know they're supposed to be there because I've seen them on other people's games). The HUD shows up fine, the vehicle driving instructions show up fine, just not the chapter titles. Also, I think when you hit quicksave a thing is supposed to show up saying "Saved..." but it doesn't for me. I've sure it's some option in one of the cfg files but I don't know where. Please help.
