Link doesnt work. Server down from powerout already? :)

OMG we've lost Sidewinder. His server is down, he must be out.

How noble(dumb?) of him to stand outside in a hurricane and take pictures. He will be missed....

I doubt he's dead.

Looks like a nice fall morning to me. We got a buncha rain these last couple of weeks after a different hurricane passed us by(here in Honolulu). The eye missed us by about 100 miles, but we got some rain.

Have fun, and keep a window open. When a hurricane hits, the pressure difference between your house and outdoors can cause your house to literally explode. Happens all the time, and with Tornadoes too.

Good night guys :)

Weehaw, I've been to honolulu, but only stopped in for 2 hour's

Yes, and don't let you're house explode k?

Looks like a beatifull sunny morning in England :)

Take that picture and add windsheers to it, and you got my situation here. And the best part about it is that i have to go mow my lawn in a few mins (hasn't rained yet).

WOW that is a nice pic. Never seen a satelite photo so clear. They normally just show you a cartoony version of it.

****ing hell, thats a big ass storm, the best of luck surviving that one sidewinder :D

North Carolina is supposed to get around 40ft waves on their beaches. THAT'S crazy.

Whoa. ok just checked out www.weatherchannel.com and its already covered half of North Carolina. I should get mowing.

Well i'm uploading a short quicktime video of whats going on. keep in mind that it's still jsut starting to pick up, this is no where near the worst part. If anyone has some extra webspace, would you mind hosting it as well? CW-meltingpoint.com doens't have enoguh bandwith to host video clips, and my cox websapce only have 10mb.

Here it is:

*note badger, could you edit that link to also be in my first thread?

Yeah, its probably going to reach us here around 1 PM. I can't wait, I love rain.

And that sattelite picture really is amazing...almost too good.

Sorta off topic here, but since i mentioned mowing earlier i guess it sort of fits in a vague sort of way. I just came in from a shocking experience. My mower blew up when I was mowing my front lawn. Literally blew up. Time to get a new mower and to reseed the grass. I have a burn to show for it.

Back on topic, it just started to rain here in PA.

I'm up in NYC and it is a cloudy and windy day. Spent the morning securing twenty feet of tomato vines and pepper bushes. Pulled 6 lbs of fruits off so they don't blow away. Pilled all the pots inthe corner of the porch and the big containers are together against the house.

Gusts up to 45 mph are expected here into tomorrow--and it is going to miss us for the most part. Always loved storms. I'm kinda bummed it didn't head more towards us.

How the hell do you have all of those plants if you live in NYC?

I am glad I live in Europe.. nice wether here ( 24 degrees, no wind and sunny :) )

omg aren't you scared the tornado wont change its path and go to YOU?

Isabel was heading for Florida, but those predictions were true. HAVE YOUR SHUTTERS UP! THEY SAY IT'S THE NEXT ANDREW!

and remember, NO STORM SHELTERS...

stay safe man.....

Kinda windy here in NYC, but otherwise OK.

They closed my uni tomorrow which pretty much sucks cause I don't got classes on Fridays anyway.

Isabelle's was almost centered where I live but it was weak? what a suck ass storm. Me and my dad went outside in raincoats during the worst part, I was running down the street jumping trying to get it to pick me up but it wouldnt. =(. It was pretty weak though, I've seen worse thunderstorms... my bro and his friend were out riding their bikes, rofl.

Well guys, I'm jsut checking in. I haven't had power for about 30 hours now... And we jsut got got our phones back. I'm writing to you on my neighbor's dial-up computer that is plugged into his generator. We might not have power back for 3-7 days, so you might not hear/see much of me. When we do get power back i'll upload the last 4 or 5 videos for you guys.

I have been spending the day clearing trees from my and my neighbor's yard; maunel labor is fun :D

Untill later

-SidewinderX, Out.
