My Latency is messed up!!

ok, ok, ok i have no idea what the latency is, but i know it probably shouldnt be over 200. My highest latency is 1999 and the lowest is 215. I turned all of my firewalls off but...NOTHING! I need stuff like Norton to be off so i am able to play. I have no idea whats going on. It started a couple days ago, I think Steam might have updated or some shit like that cuz CS:S always acts weird for me when steam updates. Plz Help:cheers:

sometimes steam is still updating while your playing css. also check for any uneccesary programs running in the background. what is your connection speed btw?

I have cable and high speed so my computers pretty damn fast and i make sure all of the other programs are off

(half) Seriously, I bet you have a virus. use Adaware / Spybot to scan too (even try hijackthis).
