I'm building a new PC, here are the specs...

Mobo: Asus K8V Deluxe Socket 754 ATX Motherboard and AMD Athlon 64 3400+ Processor

Video Card: ATI Radeon 9800 PRO / 128MB / AGP 8X / VGA / DVI / TV Out / Video Card

Power Supply: Powmax / LP-6100D / 400-Watt / ATX / Dual 80mm Fan / Power Supply

Case Fan: Aerocool X-Blaster 80mm Cooling Fan with Dual Ball Bearing - 4000RPM

CPU Fan: Speeze / Socket 754 / AMD Athlon 64 / Ball Bearing / CPU Cooling Fan

Possible HD: Western Digital / 80GB / 7200 / ATA-100 / EIDE Hard Drive

With Windows XP Pro of course...any insites on what can be improved for this system I'd appreciate it. I'll upgrade the video card later, and the AMD 64 3400+ comes with the mobo so it's a deal.

nice system, looks like what i'm planning to build. but with less excentricity :) make sure you put a lot of ram, not just 512, and it's gonna run everything great.

i already have my 9800pro128 and don't think i will upgrade until 512mb cards show up.

I would HIGHLY suggest a different PowerSupply.
POWMAX is not a very good brand and there have been a number of failing units with that specific model.

I would recommend something more like an Antec 380Watt or a Fortron 400Watt Power Supply with Dual +12V rails. :)
