Im pretty bad at this at this point but i decided to post up my work anyways.I got better work but its all in Avi :-/

hmmm. shouldn't this be in the models section?

Why not try something a bit more complex. I made an alien for my first model and its the only high polgon work I have ever done. It looked nice though. Check out www.3dbuzz.com sign up and login and go to the downloads section and do all the vtms. I am guessing u are using 3dsmax from the render. So obviasly go to the 3dsmax section start at the top and go through all 40 of the vtms. that will give u about 100 hours of experiance or something stupid like that. You will be modelling in no time.

3d max doesnt do such complex radiosity+caustics and doesnt have those textures.Btw i already have a book on modeling thanks ill look at it later when im done.

What do you mean? The radiosity in Max 6 is great! Combined with brazil it's awesome!

Nvm im here to ask opinions not to ask which is better im not gonna be switching to 3d max any time soon.
