Noooo, I fell dawn today, and broke my Omega Ω whatch !!!
Nooooo, I'm so angry and sad, such a beutifull watch.

My Poor Omega Pic

Have you ever broken something you love so much ?

whew! that was one cool omega watch. :(

i have broken many things i don't remember now

3 big scratches, it's totaly ugly now, I'm going to cry.

bring it the place you bought it from? surely if you (or someone else) spent that much money on a watch, you must have some sort of warranty on it.

I broke my wife. She die in the fields.

But I have a new wife. She nice.

PS: Borat owns :[

Oh I thought you were talking about some... party college organization of drunk asses.

So you paid this Sale price: $1,875.00 for a watch?

My dad gave it to me, he nearlly killed me.

Omegas are really beatifull, really clasic style, I hope I get the chance to buy more when I'm older.

Why would you wear it? It is more of a collectors item or for formal occasions than anything. Go buy a swiss made watch. Those things can handle a beating.

Honestly, I prefer the appearance of a $50 Fossil watch I got several years ago (they don't make it anymore, so it's not on their web site) to that of any of the Omega watches.

Also, why would anyone ever pay almost $2,000 for a watch? Does it do anything special? I might pay that much if it had a laser that could cut through steel, a two-way video communication system, a universal remote, a PDA, an EMP, a device to monitor my vital signs, an MP3 player, and a retractable grappling hook in a normal-sized watch without making it look cluttered... but all it does is keep track of the time. It doesn't even keep the date synchronized automatically (you have to make sure you reset it every other month... like my $50 watch).

The Citizen watch isn't as bad... but I still wouldn't pay the ~$500 price tag (I might consider it for half that price). At least it's functional... though, the appearance may suffer a bit because of all that crap they crammed onto one tiny screen.

Meh, get a suunto yachtsman. I've got one and it's a very cool watch! It's got scratchresistant glass!

What? You people use watches? But..but...what's wrong with cellphones?

Funny, I live in America and I don't even have cellphones, because those things annoy me to death. Plus to see a soccer mom, with a cellphone, on a big ass truck... it's like machine of death on the road.

Anyway blahblahblah, that thing looks too complex in my opinion, I am for something more simple and stylish. By the way, what's the price, I can't find it on website.

WTF, that watch is more expensive than anything I own.

Hell, it is more expensive than my computer and my TV combined! $1200 comp+ $10 TV+workbench for a stand=pwnage.

I've got a Swatch Skin. Brushed metal strap, black casing and very very thin.
I like the stylish humble simple design, I personally don't like very big golden watches that much.

Hang on....No cellphone? No text messages? No phonecalls? The mere thought makes Varg unhappy :(

Text messaging=down fall of civilization.

Yeap, and if I want to talk to the person, I either see him/her or call from home. I don't know, but when I hang out with someone, I consider it rude to take cellphone out and talk in front of people about some stupid shit.

I have to say, I generally think watches with gold or gold colouring look tacky. Silver looks much better, and in fact the watch I plan on getting has 6 small diamonds on the face :O
Sad to hear about your watch. Thats a lot of money :O

No, you won't be getting brain cancer from mobile phones.

You're more likely to forget how to use the English language properly

That citizen watch is cool, but to much stuff into it, I prefer simple designs.

HA! owned.

Actually, there has been no study that has proven cellphones to cause cancer, the only thing that has been seen are some really miniscule changes in below cell structure level, but those changes occour naturaly every now and then too.

I have the left one:
http://www.rodania.com/shop-rodania/images/r068r069m.jpg

It's made of titanium, has scratchproof sapphire glass and is water resistant till 100 meter. And that for "only" 350 EUR. Furthermore I like the looks of it more than of expensive watches (that's why I bought it) and it does the same thing; it shows what time it is.
Though I have to admit I can understand why people would buy an expensive watch (or multiple watches). Some people just love something so much that they don't mind paying a lot for it. I have the same with bass guitars.

But to stay onto topic, I haven't broken anything yet that meant a lot to me.

I liked that pokemon watch more then the other omega ones!

That's one kick ass watch you have there.

What the hell is going on with the site? Have we been hacked ?

Exposure to the sun can cause cancer too. Guess you better not go outside anymore

ive got a g-shock and love it so meh... :p

takes a serious beating too

although i might get a fancy watch soon, seeing as i can get them for rediculously cut-down prices... :O

The server the site is running on has been down for a while but it's running fine again.

There is a huge quality difference between a fossil watch ($50) and even a cheaply swiss made watch ($120). On a fossil watch, they only use steel plating. Over time the steel plating fades away and it makes the watch look ugly. Not to mention that its so called "scratch resistance" isn't very scratch resistant. Also, the general construction of the watch isn't that good.

I have a swiss watch right now and it is amazing. The thing weighs like a mac truck. My watch is heavy enough (solid steel) to kill a person if I wanted too. Now that is quality. Not to mention the scratch resistant coating was awesome. It took over 2 years of daily wear to get its first minor scratch on it. Now that is impressive. You pay for quality.

That Blue Angels watch ($475) I linked below, looks a lot nicer in person (less cluttered than you think it is). Its funny, the only thing I like to be stylish with is my watch. I honestly don't care about what clothes or shoes I wear, but I must have a nice quality watch. If I were to become obscenely rich, I would collect watches. Its something I like.
