I have made a picture in photoshop, and i just wanted to know what u guys think about it. One of my first real drawings with the new wacom-tablet. Im not done with the picture , so come with suggestions to what i can do with it.
Any critics are welcome.

Looks pretty cool IMHO.

The strong point is lighting, the weak point is detail, I think. So if you're going to work on it a bit more, do some detail.
Atleast you didn't do like me, I'm always too lazy to do backgrounds..

Wacom tablets are cool, I've got a graphire 3 myself, I've had it for a few months. Which one do you have?

Welcome to the forums, be sure to hang around some in the art forums, they're usually a bit slow, but they're still great!

Hmmmmmm

Needs more detail, add small stuff like buttons/scratches or something, also I think you should enlarge the legs, they look kind of awkward now. Also, try not to overuse the Dodge Color tool, and you should add a little white in the Dodge highlights.

Afterwards I think you should sharpen it a little, looks alot blurry now. Sharpen the edges of the robot, and up the Opacity on the brush a little to make it look less blurry.

Congratulations on your Wacom tablet, I've got a Graphire 2 , they rock! :)

Thanks for the replies, i got a vacom-volito, I think its one of the cheapest models but it works for me.
It's pretty much detailing im gonna work with now, but it's pretty hard. Do any of you guys know some good photoshop tutorials?

Weird... I drew a robot that looked very similar in design about a year ago, but I never bothered to post it up anywheres. Great minds think alike, I guess. :D

I agree that it could use some sharper contrast between the robot and the background would work, but the shading on some parts, like the head, are already really great.
I don't know of any good tuorials though, but there should be plenty out there, just check google.

kewl, it really looks depressing and evil (which is good)! i havent ever used a wacom (nor even seen a picture, tbh) but i really wouldnt mind getting one.

I like the look of it...but the legs need to be different. Not necesssarily bigger but perhaps more spread out. The wasit can stay the same though.

Still i love the atmosphere of it.
