my Squier sucks.

I have a Squier P-bass, '02 or '03. It has fretbuzz, I've the input broke off when I accidentally stepped on the cord, the knobs fall off twice a day, Fiding replacement parts is a bitch- I have to carve up pickguards to fit over the (weak) pickups and I have to make my own nuts. The paint is chipped, the body is dented, The fretboard is stained- but it's all I have and I love it with all my heart.

Someone at work is going to give me an acoustic he doesn't need, so I'm going to start playing again for the first time in about eight years. I'll be starting from scratch, 'cos I wasn't that good in the first place, but I'm really excited...

Squiers are like the hundyais of the guitar industry...a much better cheap choice would be an epiphone, the..er....toyota of the guitar industry.
