My steam is updating, is this the same for everyone else?

Its odd, me and one other guy that I know of got the update. . .everyone else is saying they didnt. I didn;t even get a change log. . .just said updating

Well someone tell me how to check my recent updates and Ill tell you what it was. It might be nothing, but i have no clue why it would say updating. Could it be some kinda file to allow cs:s to play? No, I have CZ.
