i've just bought the movies , a game let you control a hollywood studio, you build your studio and hire actors , dirctors , crew , extra actors etc... . so you start the game in 1920
and start building your studio ( cast office , production office , sets , scriptwriting office etc.. ), then you start writing the first script ( hire writers to write it , you cant create your
own movies in the first of the game ), after the script written you'll get pre-made script and drop it in the cast office, drop some actors and a dirctor, and the movie shooting will
start with those old black & white-no-sound-cameras. After the shooting finish, you release the movie and get teh $$$$. The more the the movies the more actors become pain in the ass,
you gotta treat 'em good, raise thier salary ( you raise 1 actor salary , the other actors become jelous and demand you raise thier salary too. ). You'll build other things like Rest Rooms ,
Vans for actors , Technology research center so you'll have the latest technology in the movie making industry, you'll get more and more building and sets when the game advances.
Every year you pass in the game thier is a Ocsar alike award, for best movie , top of the chars movie , best actor , even best designed studio ( i always get this award
).
Every award you get give you bonus ( like Fast technology research bonus ), also sometimes they give you bonus buildings like i got Custom Script Writing Office ,
i can create my own movies with this Office . Now to shooting movies, in the custom script office , you take a black sheet and drop it in the office,
you'll go to another screen, in this screen, you write the film name , choose the stars and the film genre, after that you'll choose the sets for each scene after you choose the scene ,
you'll have many many commands on the screen, you choose if the actor gonna talk to someone, kill , kiss , run , escape , stop the car , drive a car ,
order a beer and alot alot of stuff ( there is a search feature ), you can also change props in the set, like adding a car , or a ball etc... you can even cycle day\night\dawn,
so you start shooting scene after scene ( They say the film can be up to 2 hours ). When you done making your movie , you drop it in the cast office and start then they'll start shooting it.
Thats all i can tell you right now, its a good game, im really having fun, im kinda disppointed with the " make your own movie feature " , it got limits , like you cant move the camera ( depends in the scene ). Also its kinda hard, well for me...maybe i sucks i dunno.
