So the warranty on my insulin pump ran out about a month ago. Which is why it just HAD to break yesterday! Now I'm stuck doing injections until I can go see my doctors and get them to write me a script for a new one.

I didn't take this picture, but it is exactly the syringe and insulin types I'm using.

PS: I'm diabetic

I don't know what to say.
But, diabeetus is a real c*nt.

KEEP FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT.

I wonder if I have diabetes and just don't know it. Many people do. I've worried in the past that I might have it... because of certain symptoms. One of them is that when I get injuries they take forever to heal.

I always worry if I have, or am heading towards diabetes.

I deffinitely eat way too much sugary and fatty foods for it to be even remotely healthy.

Hell, I eat too much PERIOD!

Today I gashed open my ankle and it wouldn't stop bleeding. I thought to myself "****, insulin injections, here I come".

Then it clotted up and I went and ate some bannana fritters and a slice of cake.

I burnt myself pretty badly two months ago, and I still have a relatively fresh scab from it.

Yeah, shit always happens like this. It's like a higher power sits over us and watches while our warranties run out before knocking them over with their giant invisible finger and giggling like a little school girl.

What type diabetes do you have Hurricane? Have you had it all your life or develop it at some point?

Or perhaps companies base the length of their warranties on the likelihood of their product breaking at different times.

Type 1. I was diagnosed at 4 1/2 years old, but I know quite a few people who were born with it. (Diabetes camp ftw)
