Rather than hijacking the other thread I would decide to make a thread on this.

You see I am Color-Blind. I really screw up colors(Making me not able to put good colors togeather), so I made this site a while ago and I just wanted to ask what you thought?

Anyway everything(including php scripts) were written by hand so I can easily modify just about everything.

:bounce:

Colors don't Match. : p

And Seems kind of like alot of empty space to me.

Its ok, but its not my thing, i just dont like it for some reason.

I HATE times new roman. Change the font, say verdana or tahoma if you're making it smaller sized (8-9pt), or arial.

Yeah I know the font needs changing that isn't really done yet..just more of a spaceholder.

I know this is off topic, but what is color-blind really? I know that you see colors differently, but for you, is like blue - yellow or something? Or do you see partially in black and white or what?

Cool site though.

I don't really like the images you used as background and border either.

The site looks too dark and depressing, black websites are sooooo yesterday. Times = No, Verdana = Yes. Nav font too small. Top banner too deep. Use css, not font tags. Apart from that it's tickety boo.

and why say yes to steam when we already have the internal combustion engine? think about it...

No, not as far as what you went to say.
It deals with alot of matching up colors and things.
You see, for me, certain colors when put near eachother well...I cannot tell them apart without staring there for a minute or 2.

Like Blue and Purple and Violet, Blue and Black, Yellow and Orange, brown and red, dark brown and black, red and orange, and quite a few more.
Even when colors arn't next to eachother it happens. Like quite often I will mistake a purple shirt and think it's blue.
I don't always mistake colors, and I have gotten better at picking out colors and telling the diffrence over the past years(Adjusting to Colorblindess).
Anyway I do see color, but alot of the time colors just seem too...look the same...

I mean if I try I can recognize the colors..but well...I dun feel like staring at everything for a minute.

Because I like crappy technology :).

Now when it comes to matching colors...well I can never make colors look right. I can never make them "flow" because well... Half the time the non colorblind user will see the colors a tad diffrent, and that tad of diffrence...can make all the diffrence in the world.

Cool site though.
I have a friend who's partially colour blind and he sees green and red as grey, I think

Nice coding.. I guess

But the colours don't match (lol, think that's been said somewhere...), the font's not too good, and it's a bit too small in places. The textures don't match either!
If you want any inspiriation, go to this site here. It's not finished, and I am just kidding, it's not the best, but the colours are nice :). (hope this don't count as advertising! :S)
