Ive just preordered the collectors edition because of the demo, it was great!

They've changed it from Uru so that you can point and click to move, but you can change it in the options to use WASD.

Nice demo.

I'm possibly the only person in the gaming world to have never played any of the Myst games. Really love adventure games but I just never got round to getting them for some reason.

So I've just ordered Myst Masterpiece Edition and Realmyst and I'll probably get all the others if I like them.

From what I can tell:

There's a bunch of symbols all over the island.
The inside of the windows are labelled 1 to 15 with corresponding symbols

And that's all.

I only ever got to the second island/world/planet on Myst. That was years ago though. Maybe I should come back afresh sometime soon.

Yeah! I love the Myst series! I'm glad their not letting it die with the last 1; "Exile".
The original Myst is still the best. Love the pressure tree elevator, and the water puzzle, and that tram ride underground, and that ship, and...

Riven was good too. The ride around the islands was just too cool. And how you cracked the inner seal and all hell broke lose.

Anyone know the System Requirements for this Demo?

Is it me or do you just run around with a tablet and do nothing. I was stuck on the first island and the guy was rambling on about something then after there I just ran around. I drew on the tablet and nothing happened so I quit the game after 15 minutes on nothing happening. Oh yeah, when I clicked the little thing it erased what I drew lol.

I beat the demo a couple days ago. You don't even have to use the tablet in the demo. What you need to take note of are the numbers inside the big rock, also the little diagram of the island(the one to the right of the warp thing) with all the symbols on the wall.... well, look at the symbols and the numbers. Figure out which ones are numbers, then figure out which symbols are used on the 4 "turning" stones.... eliminate the symbols that aren't correct

I wasn't even aware I could turn those stones. I just stared at that wall and started drawing those symbols lol.

Meh, I was messing around with the tablet for ages. I managed to make it rain and fill up the cup things, but I wasn't sure what to do with the turning stones so I uninstalled it.

I have never touched a Myst game in my life, but this looks to be great fun if I can figure out what to do. So please PM on how to make it rain and all the likewise and on what to actually do.
